The CW official renewed One Tree Hill for an eighth season on May 18, 2010. Original cast members returning are James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Sophia Bush, Lee Norris and Antwon Tanner. It will premiere Tuesday September 14 at 8/7c. Mark Schawahn recently admitted that the future of the series is still unclear, and while anything could happen, he is treating this season to be the last of the series.
