The Angels looked defeated in their Pacific game which a 3 run 5th innning deficit against the New York Yankees but the Angels Howard Kendrick, Vladimir Guerrero and Jeff Mathis had sprout a massive idea which in a flash on the streaming voice of the supporters 5-4 game 3 wins in 11 innings at the Angels HomeCourt Stadium. The Angels kick off the AL Championship Series against their opponent New York Yankees.

When the 2 outs in the 11th, Alfredo Aceves shouted a single to Kendrick, who scored with Mathis dash a double to the base in left center. The one who pitched scoreless 11th, got the winning streak is Ervin Santana.
